Bed & Breakfast in Newton Stewart
The Rowallan Guest House B & B
Conservatory for Dining
Rob and Julie Hart would like to invite you to stay at Rowallan Guest House, formerly a boutique hotel in Newton Stewart. From its convenient central location you will be able to explore all that Dumfries and Galloway has to offer, take in its beauty, learn about its history, partake in its many activities and relax at the end of the day in our lovely period home.
Newton Stewart, the Gateway to the Galloway Hills, was founded on the west bank of the River Cree in the mid-17th Century by William Stewart to manufacture wool and goods using the river to power the mills. Today it is chiefly a market town and touring centre for the heart of Galloway and Dumfries.
South West Scotland and in particular Dumfries and Galloway is said to be an undiscovered holiday gem. From impressive mountains to forest walks, crystal clear lochs and sweeping coastline, here time seems to stand still.
After a relaxing night in our bed and breakfast all this beauty is easily
accessed. Calm the body and refresh the mind at Rowallan Guest House, once an hotel in Newton Stewart and
enjoy the gentle way of life found in the South West of Scotland. The
Galloway Forest declared the UK`s first Dark Sky Park, one of only four in the world,is no more than a few miles from our accommodation as
are many other wonderful things to see and do.
