By Car
From Glasgow follow the M77 motorway south to Ayr and A713 to New Galloway then A712 to A75 junction east of Newton Stewart. Turn right to Newton Stewart.

From Edinburgh follow South Edinburgh ring road to Hillend then A702 to Abington and continue on A702 to Thornhill, St.Johns Town of Dalry and New Galloway then follow A712 to A75 junction east of Newton Stewart. Turn right to Newton Stewart.

From the A75 Newton Stewart roundabout take third exit, follow Queen Street to Dashwood Square at which point turn left into Princess Street and immediately right into Jubilee Road. Follow Jubilee Road, which becomes Church Street, past the Library and Bowling Club. At the junction of Corsbie Road and York Road the entrance to Rowallan Guest House is on the left.

From A712 turn right immediately before the A75 junction, signed Minnigaff. Arriving at Newton Stewart from the B7079 via Minnigaff, cross over the Cree Bridge, follow road to left and travel through the town. Take the second right turn (Church Lane). Turn right into Jubilee Road which becomes Church Street, past the Library and Bowling Club. At the junction of Corsbie Road and York Road the entrance to Rowallan Guest House is on the left.

By Plane
Glasgow Airport is approximately two hours drive to Newton Stewart. The closest airport to us is Prestwick International Airport. It takes approximately one and a half hours drive to reach us in Newton Stewart from Prestwick.

By Train
There is no train service that runs to Newton Stewart; however trains run from Glasgow to Barrhill and Stranraer. Newton Stewart is approx. 15 miles from Barrhill (to the north) and Stranraer (to the west). You can follow the A714 from Barrhill south to Newton Stewart. From Stranraer follow the A75 east.

By Ferry
Newton Stewart is only 25 miles from the ferry ports of Stranraer and Cairnryan. Regular crossings are available from Belfast or Larne in Northern Ireland.
