All our bedrooms are en suite and equipped to a high standard for your comfort.

Breakfast is served between 8 and 9am.

A trouser press and ironing facilities are also available on request.

All our bedrooms are on the first floor and are equipped and decorated with the comfort of our B & B visitors in mind.

We have 6 en-suite rooms in total consisting of:

Superior Twin - Large Twin Room with bay window overlooking the garden and views towards the hills. Seating area with antique sofa. Large ensuite bathroom (shower over bath)

Superior Double - Large Double Room, views over the hills towards Cairnsmore, large ensuite bathroom (shower over bath)

Classic Twin - Comfortable Twin Room - with views towards the hills and Cairnsmore - with large ensuite shower room

Bedroom 6

Superior King Room - Exceptionally Large bright room with King Size bed and seating area with antique sofa. Exceptionally large ensuite bathroom with dual rainfall shower over bath.

Retaining many of its original features, Rowallan Guest House provides comfortable well equipped, first floor accommodation, with lovely aspects to enhance your stay.

Situated in half an acre of lovely mature garden, Rowallan Guest House provides a residents lounge, (with a bar open from 6pm for pre dinner drinks), a  spacious elegant restaurant which creates the perfect atmosphere for your stay.

Founded on the River Cree in the mid-17th century by William Stewart, the youngest son of the second Earl of Galloway, the New Town of Stewart has become a centre for a wide range of outdoor activities including hill walking, bird watching, golf, cycling, mountain biking, pony trekking, fishing and hunting.

Please note that we have secure storage for bikes and drying facilities on request.
Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate children under 16 or pets.

We are open from 1st March to 31st October
